Emotional Eating among Final Year Undergraduate Female Students of Faculty of Public Health Universitas Indonesia During COVID-19 Pandemic in 2021

Emotional eating is defined as the tendency to excessively consuming food which often high in sugar, salt, and fat levels response negative emotions. Uncontrolled emotional will increase risk of disorders such bulimia nervosa binge-eating disorder, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, type II diabetes. This study aims find out about relationship between perceived stress, anxiety, academic stressors, social media engagement, COVID-19 infection history respondent their family members, mindfulness with among 106 final year undergraduate female students Faculty Public Health Universitas Indonesia during pandemic 2021. cross-sectional quantitative shows that there are 20,8% respondents who has an tendency. There significant differences engagement observing facet (p-value < 0,05) eating. Young adults should discover more triggers positive coping strategies, use wisely, eat mindfully.
